Why I Started Next Club
I founded Next Club because I believe learning to code should feel like creating, not just copying. It should be fun, challenging, and directly connected to the tools and games kids already love.
So instead of focusing only on traditional block coding, we built a curriculum centered around Roblox and Minecraft — platforms kids are already excited about. We still use block coding where it fits (especially for beginners), but we quickly move into real coding, game development, and hands-on building.

Hi, I’m Callum — the founder of Next Club. With a background in computer science and years of teaching kids to code, I noticed something worrying: most coding clubs weren’t built for kids.
They focused too much on block-based tools or rigid platforms that felt disconnected from what children actually enjoy. There was little room for creativity, expression, or real-world understanding — and kids often lost interest fast.
That’s when I decided to build something better.
What Makes Us Different
At Next Club, we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all education. Our programs are structured but flexible — built to meet kids where they are and help them grow from there.
Instead of just dragging blocks, kids are:
Writing Lua scripts in Roblox Studio
Designing and printing real objects in 3D printing camps
Working through an 8-level Gear Path that turns players into creators
